Josée Rivest
PhD, Psych
Research summary and ProfileProfessor Rivest conducts research in the field of visual perception and neuropsychology. Specifically, she studies face recognition, shape perception, and attention in individuals suffering from mild cognitive impairment and normals.
Professor Rivest is affiliated with Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care. She offers clinical neuropsychological services to patients whose brain injuries have affected their visuo-perceptual abilities. Dr Rivest clinical intervention and research involve individuals who have Posterior Cortical Atrophy, and who have acquired topographic orientation, and face, and object recognition difficulties. She also studies attention in individuals suffering from mild cognitive impairment. |
